wednesday 13th july

Hi to everyone from Lavenham falconry in Suffolk,Today we spent the afternoon at Hedingham Castle, and another lovely day although it was a little overcast as the experience continued. And again Gizmo gained height today and pitched at over 80ft and circled over the guests for approx 1 minute. For the first time today we introduced Boris the Russian steppe eagle and worked him beside the lakes for 5 or 10 mins and explaining to our guests the method of training Boris is having to train him from being a static display bird to a valued member of our flying team...
Ezme, Gadget, jake and scarlet where brilliant although Ruby was not that interested in working today.
Filming was taking place within the castle today and it was hush hush as to what was going on!!!
Stella was mind blowing today and really pushed the boundrys today with her flying and behaviour!! its amazing to think that an Eagle with a wingspan over 5ft can manouvior like a swallow or swift ,stop on a coin. Our guests really enjoyed their day with us which is the most important part of it all. Happy Birthday to josh,11 today from everyone from Lavenham Falconry in suffolk!!

Hi Stephen., Thank you for a wonderful day on Monday 5th September at Castle Hedingham, my husband Reg thoroughly enjoyed flying the birds, and will be talking about it for a very long time to come. The birds were absolutely fantastic, and Ezme is such an adorable little bird, well they all are. No doubt we will book another experience next year. best wishes Caroline Riley.
